Defending champion Ian Field enjoyed a successful start to the defence of his British Cycling National Trophy Cyclo-cross title at Southampton Sports Centre.
The four-time British champion, who rides for Hargroves Cycles-Ridley RT, finished ahead of Graham Briggs (JLT Condor) and Jack Clarkson (Hope Factory).
Hannah Payton (Team Kinesis) won the women's race.
