THERE was a huge turnout as Hampshire captain Jimmy Adams saw the launch of his benefit year.
The 34-year-old was rewarded with a benefit year by the club, 13 years after making his first team debut against Sussex.

The Winchester-born batsman was awarded his Hampshire cap in 2006 after recording 262 at Trent Bridge.
He took over as captain from Dominic Cork in 2011 and reached 10,000 first class runs for Hampshire last year.
Friends, family, and many associated with Hampshire cricket attended the celebration at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton last night.
