James Vince has been included in both England Lions squads for their forthcoming tour of South Africa.

The Hampshire batsman has been included in 14-man first-class and one-day squads for series against Souith Africa in the new year.

Jonathan Trott has also been given the chance to show that he worth an England recall for the first time since a stress-related illness forced him out of England’s Ashes whitewash in Australia.

Other England internationals involved include Jonny Bairstow, Gary Ballance, Liam Plunkett and Sam Robson.

Vince is one of 11 players in both 14-man squads, seven of whom are from LV= County Champions Yorkshire.

The 23 year-old was Hampshire’s Batsman of the Year in 2014 after scoring 2,000-plus runs in all competitions.
