MORE than £4,000 was raised for a breast cancer charity at a recent fashion show in Bishop's Waltham.
Jubilee Hall hosted the event on April 18 with the money going to Breast Cancer Now.
A spokesman from the organisers Bishop's Waltham Rotary Club said: “It was a sold out night with over 200 in the audience, and if we had the room, we would have been well on the way to filling a second hall, with the number of people on the waiting list for any returned tickets.

“The audience was treated to a display of clothing available at outlets in Bishop’s Waltham ranging from sportswear, through casual wear to outfits for a night out or a wedding. There were also more than a dozen stalls selling clothing, make up etc.
“A highlight of the show came right at the end when one of the contributors’ partners came up on the stage, got down on one knee, and proposed, and she said yes.
“At the end of the night, we were able to raise over £4,000 for Breast Cancer Now.”
