For the second time this week my husband and myself have been witness to wine being stolen from Marks and Spencer.

I have spoken to young members of staff and commented on the fact that the wine shelves are situated at the entrance to the shop and have excellent access for shop lifters, the doors always kept open.

I have been advised it is head office policy not to keep food near an entrance to the store but unfortunately despite many members of the public showing concern this is a situation that remains unsolved I wonder how many losses M&S have when stock taking occurs and we the public have to pay such high prices for the produce sold in store to cover that loss and I was also informed that they do not employ security officers!

On approaching a PCO along with the security officer from Sainsburys she showed no interest whatsoever.
