The pupils stood out when they performed 'Sing from your heart', 'You are my strength', and 'Put a little love in your heart', acquiring the highest distinction. They were the only representatives from a state school in the competition.
Mrs Dawn Harrison, headteacher of St Francis CE Primary said: "I am incredibly proud of the hard work our students put into this performance and their very well deserved success."
Organisers, who founded the festival in 1926, will announce if St Francis students would feature in the Festival Concert at Thornden Hall later this year.
