A BB gun has been seized after a suspected incident at West View House, an ex-offenders' hostel in Winchester.
Residents in the area reported seeing several police cars and a number of ambulances descending on West View House at around 1.30pm on Saturday, February 10.
A resident who wished to remain anonymous said the Hyde Gate cul-de-sac, in which West View House sits, was blocked by the large volume of emergency services which arrived at the building.
