A HAMPSHIRE man has been fined for stealing from two shops in Basingstoke.
Aaron Grant, of no fixed abode, was caught on August 27 stealing a case of Stella Beer from a One Stop in Basingstoke. The value of the stolen items was £6.99.
The 32-year-old was then caught stealing four bottles of Hennessy, to the value of £150, from Sainsbury’s on September 9.
Grant appeared before Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Thursday, January 4, where he pleaded guilty to both thefts.
He has been ordered to pay £6.99 compensation. No order has been made for costs due to insufficient means.
