A HIGH street cake shop in Winchester has closed its doors for good.
Patisserie Valerie shut its doors on New Year's Day.
A sign in the window of the empty shop says: “This store will be closing as of Monday, January 1, 2024.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”

A reason for the closure has not been given.
This news comes after the café received a one-out-of-five food hygiene rating following an inspection in November.
The café had previously closed its doors for a few weeks last year while it underwent refurbishment, reopening in July.
