The visualisation from the City Trust (Chronicle, December 28) was an important contribution to thinking about the extensive proposed development of Bushfield Camp.

The Bushfield developers have many resources to generate powerful images and these can be highly influential so it is valuable to look at other views.

I attach an image of the site at dusk viewed from Badger Farm. I wonder if readers can imagine lights from a multistory car park shining from the top of the Bushfield hill?

Hampshire Chronicle: Bushfield Camp from Badger Farm

A lit-up car park would be a far cry from the church construction of chapels on such prominent sites as was the case on neighbouring St Catherine's Hill.

It would be an illuminated beacon to remind us of the 4,542 car trips a day to the proposed development in this time of climate crisis (statistics courtesy of rigorous calculations by WinACC).
