Further to the three people who expressed an interest in volunteering to help at the Romsey Age Concern lunches, another five have been in touch.

The latter folk responded to the print version of my letter which appeared in the Romsey Advertiser.

The volunteers we needed to keep the two Thursdays going are still with us and enjoying themselves. Although our hope to run a third Thursday didn't materialise.

We also had a recent visit from environmental health and we were awarded/retained a 5-star hygiene rating.

If you would like to volunteer and can spare one day a month for about five and a half hours, please contact Age Concern on 01794 518817 or e-mail office@ageconcernromsey.org.uk
