The A33 east of Micheldever remains closed to traffic following a crash involving an ambulance and another vehicle.
The crash was first reported to the AA’s live online traffic monitoring system at 10.09am, with police responding around 17 minutes later.
Hampshire Police said: “We were called at 10.36am today (Sunday 3 September) to a report of a collision involving an ambulance and a car on the A33 in Micheldever, close to the junction with Winchester Road.
“Three people have reported serious injuries, however these are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing at the current time.
“We remain at the scene and the road is currently closed. We urge people to avoid the area while the incident is dealt with.”
The affected section of the A33 lies between Winchester Road and Duke Street just east of Micheldever. Traffic is being diverted onto a rat run through Micheldever via Winchester Road and Duke Street to bypass the site.
