THE WATERLOOVILLE Motorcycle Club (WMCC) held its annual Fossils Charity Bike Ride on July 16.

This year the route took place in Hampshire. The riders started their journey at Horndean Technology College before riding through the Bishop’s Waltham area to Wickham before returning to the start.

More than 130 riders took part in the event, which was completed at around 12.30pm, raising a total of £2,650 to be split between the group’s chosen charities.

The participants were then invited to enjoy burgers and drinks while representatives from Hampshire Air Ambulance and SERV Wessex/The Blood Runners – the causes the ride was in aid of – spoke about what the charities do and their importance to the biking community.
