MARWELL Zoo is welcoming three CBeebies favourites over with special Thursday Fun Days throughout the holidays.

Bluey and her little sister Bingo, from the much-loved children’s TV show Bluey, will be visiting the zoo on Thursday, July 27, August  10 and August 24.

While big and cuddly dog Duggee, from Hey Duggee, will be taking a break from running Squirrel Club to visit Marwell on Thursday, August 3 and August 17.

Admission will be only available to guests who have booked in advance, with the playful characters joining story time sessions at 11am, midday, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Bluey, Bingo and Duggee will have a designated appearance arena on the back lawn of Marwell Hall so as many people as possible can see them on a first-come first-served basis. There will be limited capacity so if it is particularly busy, guests are advise to come back for a later slot.

Events manager, Nicky Cole, said: “We couldn’t be more excited about welcoming Bluey, Bingo and Hey Duggee for our Thursday Fun Days over the summer holidays. We just know parents and their little ones are going to love seeing their favourite TV stars and joining in all the fun at the zoo with us.”

Guests, under threes and free carer spaces also need to be prebooked online ahead of the visit as the Thursday Fun Days are expected to be especially popular.

All other ticket types such as complimentary and third-party tickets will not be valid for Bluey or Hey Duggee event days.

Fun day visitors will still be able to explore Marwell’s 140 acres with hundreds of exotic and endangered animals, five adventure play areas, cafes and ice cream stops.
