MORE than £3,000 has been raised for Home-Start Winchester with a barn dance.

Held in the barn at Pinglestone, Old Alresford, attendees got into the spirit of the event with cowboy hats, checked shirts, boots and fringed waistcoats.

The event featured a hog roast provided by Sole Butchers of New Alresford, while the Home-Start Winchester team laid out a spread of salads to go with it, alongside a range of desserts. Meanwhile, music was performed by the Craigievar Ceilidh Band.
