ROMSEY Quilters is celebrating the end of its exhibition and Fabric Fiesta.

The event, held at Romsey Abbey showcased the works of the quilting group, demonstrating their creativity. It was part of Romsey Festival and showcased more than 120 quilts as it hung in the church from July 1.

There were thousands of visitors, examining the wide variety of quilts, each of which had been made by members.

The quilting group expressed its appreciation to the community and visitors from far and wide who embraced the celebration of quilting artistry.

This year the group is also celebrating its 40th anniversary, following its founding in 1983.
