Natalie Kyle of Goadsby said: “This deal shows continued strong demand for retail units in Winchester and we wish Wenzel’s every success.”

The TSB unit, on the corner next to Sainsbury's, has been left empty for two years, with Winchester being one of the bank’s 164 branch closures across the country in 2021.

Before being a bank, 141 High Street had been a Burger King for a while.

Wenzel’s has been contacted for comment and its expected opening date. Goadsby expects work to start in the coming weeks.
