A HIGH-END estate agent has seen continued success with its new city centre location.

Fine and Country Winchester opened its office on Southgate Street on January 16 after previously being located in an office in Winnall Industrial Estate. The business specialises in selling and representing high-end properties across Hampshire.

He said: “We were working at a remote office out in Winnall but then this one became available, and it was too good an opportunity to turn down.

“We opened in mid-January, and it opens with brand awareness, brand trust: I think that’s key. People like to know that if they are trusting an agent they want to know where they are, want them to be visible, and that’s helped massively.

“What’s also helped is recruitment. Like I said with clients trusting us, it’s for agents who come on board as well, and the office has helped hugely with that.”

Despite not being located on Winchester High Street, Jack said that he has no concerns about Fine and Country’s location.

Because of the clients that we deal with, we’re fortunate enough that we don’t need to sell hundreds. What I liked about this location, as opposed to Jewry Street for example, is the passing traffic. So, we’re really visible, we play all of our property videos on the screen in the window. So, it’s nice that when people are sat bored at the traffic lights they can have a look and watch the property videos.

“That was the big deciding factor for me.”

Jack added that Fine and Country is “very happy” to be in Winchester city centre, saying “The brand and the city align quite nicely.

“Winchester is a lovely, up-market place and I think Fine and Country fits that as well.”
