A HOMELESSNESS charity has announced its sponsors for this year’s ‘Big Sleep Out’.

Charters Winchester and RBC Brewin Dolphin Winchester are supporting Trinity Winchester’s annual sleep out.

The fundraising event welcomes participants on Friday, May 12 for a night under the stars, sleeping outside on the grounds of the Winchester Cathedral.

Hampshire Chronicle:

The evening consists of entertainment such as Integr8 Dance, building cardboard shelters, food from local businesses including Piecaramba and Overdraft while raising money for charity’s work supporting the homeless and vulnerable.

Hampshire Chronicle:

After 10pm, the challenge is to get some sleep away from any home comforts. All fundraising goes towards Trinity’s services, offering long-term, positive change, getting people out of homelessness and ready to move on to independent living and into employment.
