ANOTHER business in Winnall has closed due to financial difficulties.
The Fabric Warehouse, behind Homebase on Easton Lane, has temporarily closed as the nationwide chain battles to stay afloat.
The store has been closed for more than two weeks and it is understood that six or seven people are employed there.
A spokesman at the company’s Liverpool head office said: “The company is in financial difficulty but are trying to resolve the issue at the moment. None of us here at head office know anything as of yet.”
In December, IAC Acoustics, on Moorside Road, Winnall, collapsed with 111 jobs lost.
The chain has 14 stores across the country, all of which have closed.
They sell curtains, fabrics, nets, cushions and bathroom and bedroom accessories and its the Fabric Warehouse website is undergoing maintenance.
