THE annual tradition of the Michaelmas Fair in Alresford, returns next Thursday, October 15.
The rides and traditional stalls squeeze into Broad Street from 3pm until the late evening.
Drivers are advised to seek other routes from the town to Old Alresford because they won't get through, even though some lorry drivers do try.
The right to hold the event was granted by an ancient charter.
